Home Xbox 360 Shooter Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 ZOMBIE GUIDESBLACK OPS 2 TRANZIT GUIDEREVOLUTION DLC DIE RISE GUIDEVENGEANCE DLC BURIED GUIDEThe zombies are back but this time, instead of going around and around in a non-stop circle, it’s a race to try and escape them. The new Mob of the Dead mode, from the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Uprising DLC, lets up to four players make a break from their cells on Alcatraz Island and try and gain their freedom by finding parts to build a plane. Aside from the plane parts needed, there are other items that you can find and build as you fight off the waves of the undead, including things like shields and traps. It’s a new take on the zombie mode with some familiar faces and gameplay that is very similar to previous modes. With this guide, we’ll show you where and how to get the items needed and how to make your way off the island safe and WARDEN'S KEYThe first thing that you’ll need to do to make your escape is to locate and grab the Warden’s key from the cell block. The only real tricky thing about this is that the key can appear in two different places and which one it will be located in is random. The two places it can appear are either outside the cafeteria or outside of the Warden’s Office, both on the bottom floor of the LOCATION 1To get the key outside of the cafeteria, you’ll need to exit through the grey door from the starting area and follow it up the next stairs to the next area. If the key is there, you will see it hanging on the left side from an electrified hook. Make your way down to the ground floor and across from the showers door, there will be an electrical panel to use to enter the afterlife. Zap yourself and you will then see a portal open above you, across from the electrical box. Sprint and levitate up to get through it and then go to the left to find an electrical panel there to zap. Shoot it and that will lower the key, allowing you to grab it when you return to your LOCATION 2The other location where the key may be is through the same grey door, except this time you will need to have enough money to go through another door, which is located on the second floor, up the stairs and down the catwalk, to the right of where the other key is also located, across from the showers. Once you go through the second door, continue all the way to the end and you will see the electrified key hanging from the hook above in the corner. To get the key, use the electrical panel on the corner across from the Warden’s Office and a portal will appear above, and directly across from the panel. Jump up through it and go to the left to find the electrical panel. Zap it and the key will now drop down for you to 1 SHOWERSTo access the first part, you will need to open the door to the showers. Go to the electrical box where the key 1 is located. Zap yourself to enter the afterlife and then go through the portal located to the left of the MP5 on the wall. Run through the opening to the end, after jumping up on the pipes. Then turn around, and run back and up to the upper level of the pipes. Once you reach the end here, zap the volt machine and it will open the gate to the showers which is directly across from where your body will be when you return to that you are back up, head down the stairs through the now open gate and you’ll see the washing machine in the back corner. Open the gate with the Warden’s Key and then go all the way to the other side of the shower room to find the electrical box there. Zap yourself and then fly back to the washing machine room and shock the volt machine to the right to turn on the power. Return to your body and then go back to the washing machine and turn it on. As it spins, the room will turn steamy and a horde of zombies will attack, including most likely a Brutus, a hulking zombie that takes massive amounts of damage and will show up every once in a 2 CITADELFor the next part, head to the Citadel Tunnels which you can either access through the Showers or through the stairs leading down to the left of the Warden’s Office. When you reach the Citadel, there will be a spiral staircase that circles an elevator in the center, leading down to a door and a set of numbers on a board behind a lock. Use the Warden’s Key to unlock the numbers panel and then pay to unlock the door at the bottom. Make your way back up to the top of the spiral and use the electrical box there to enter the back down the spiral stairs and look on the left side for three numbers that you will pass on the way down. When you reach the numbers panel, shock each number section so that the number match the ones you saw on the way down. A timer will now start and you will either need to return to your body quickly or have another person run through the door at the bottom and go down the stairs and down the hallway to the left, all the way to the end where the elevator will arrive. Open the cage and grab the part off the elevator 3 DOCKSOnce you reach the Docks, either via the gondola on the third floor or through the hallway at the bottom of the Citadel, there will be a fenced in area to the right side, across from the bottom of the ramp and large set of stairs. To enter the fenced area, use the Warden’s Key and then within the first fenced area, there will be an electrical box and a volt machine. If you are playing solo, you can just zap into the afterlife and then shock the volt machine to open the gate, however if you are playing with more people, you will need to have two people enter the first caged area, one then will enter the afterlife, shock the volt meter, and then the other player will need to run and grab the part out of the second caged area. It’s a simple part to get, but can be a little tricky without good communication between team 4 WARDEN'S OFFICEInside the Warden’s Office, you will see a room on the right side that has an electrified door. The part will be inside here, but to get it, you will need to shock three electrical panels that are in the Generator Room, down beside the docks. In the large room between the Docks and the Citadel, there will be a bunch of electrical panels, the same type you shocked to lower the Warden’s Key. You will need to shock the three panels that are lit up. There will be two in the Generator Room and then a third that will be through a portal at the far end of the room to hit as the three panels are hit, you will then need to return to your body and return to the Warden’s Office to enter the small office and grab the part off the table. To open the Warden’s Office, you will need to basically do the same thing as when you get the Warden’s Key from spot 2, except you will need to go to the right when you float through the portal and find the volt machine there to shock which will then open the Warden’s Office door, allowing you access to the now accessible 5 INFIRMARYFor this last part, you will be able to get it just before you head up to the roof, through the Infirmary. You can reach the infirmary through either the door in the cafeteria or by following the catwalk behind the Electric Cherry machine on the third floor in the center of the cell block. When you enter the Infirmary, follow the corridors leading to the roof and just before you reach the stairs leading up, there will be a glass cabinet on the right side. Use the Warden’s key to open it and grab the final part. Now that you have the part, enter the afterlife again using the electrical box there, and go through the portal located in the tiled hallway a couple rooms over and follow the narrow passage to the roof. Once there, shock the volt machine next to the door and it will open giving you access to the you have returned to your body and either you or each player has a part of the plane, they will then need to head to the roof of the prison through the Infirmary. In the center of the roof, you will see a ramp where once you are close to it, will be prompted to build. Once you have all 5 parts combined, the plane will be built and each player will need to hop on by the rear of it. Once on, it will then take you on a ride across the San Francisco Bay where you will crash into the Golden Gate Bridge. Once you and your team - or at least those made it to the plane, as you can see in the image above, I was left behind -arrive on the bridge, you will then have to fight off more zombies. For your troubles there is a Pack-a-Punch machine on the bridge to give your weapons a major boost. You will also notice that there are a series of electric you have had enough of the bridge, you can sit in the electric chair and be taken back to Alcatraz where this time, instead of finding 5 plane parts to escape the prison, you will need to find 5 fuel cans. The fuel cans can be found in the same places as the plane parts were the first time, but thankfully this time around, you don’t need to use any fancy tricks to reach them and they can easily be picked up and returned to the TO GET THE HELL'S RETRIEVER WEAPONTo find the red glowing tomahawk known as Hell’s Retriever, you will need to feed 5 zombies to the three Hell Hounds that are spread throughout the prison and that will appear when you kill a zombie in front of them. Once the hounds are active, the zombies that you kill near the hound’s head will get sucked into its mouth and be chomped on. Once you have fed 5 bodies to the wall-bound heads, you will then be able to add this awesome weapon in your HOUND 1 B BLOCKThis first hound can be found in between cell block C and B near the starting spawn area. Go through the cage door at the library and then up the ramp to the right. Here at the Broadway signs you will see an orange marking on the wall of a hound head around the right corner. Hang out here and wait for a zombie to arrive and then kill it in front of the marking. Let the hound suck up 5 more and then it will disappear leaving a glowing mark on the HOUND 2 DOCKSThe second hound can be found at the docks, on the wall near the crafting bench, and just to the left of the door that leads to the Generator Room. Repeat the same thing for this hound head that you did the previous, and again, once it is full, it will disappear leaving behind a glowing orange mark on the HOUND 3 INFIRMARYThe third and final hound can be found in the Infirmary, directly beside the locked up part needed for the plane, and to the left of the door to the roof. As with the previous hounds, kill a zombie in front of it to activate it and then kill more to feed it. Once it is full and it disappears, it too, will leave an orange glowing mark on the that all three hounds have been fed and have disappeared, you can go and grab the Hell’s Retriever. To find it, go down to the showers and go through the door found on the far side between the electrical box and the washing machine. Follow the corridor there all the way to the end and there will now be an open wall underneath the banner of three hound heads with the tomahawk inside, glowing and looking all pretty. Atomix last edited by I played mob of the dead recently and i did everything i could do solo, got the golden spork and hell's redeemer. I too thought there was a problem with the copy of the map but I tried again, I spent round 25, 26 and 27 on the brigde only killing zombies and the warden with the hell's retriver and after that it worked. So in conclusion, stay on the bridge for a couple of rounds and ONLY use Hell's Retriver.
PopGoes The Weasel is unarguably the most difficult and tedious achievement that’s included in the Mob of the Dead zombie map for Black Ops 2. It’s really so annoying that there would be no
Mob of the Dead AKA Alcatraz Island is the main Zombies map featured in the DLC Pack, Uprising. The map is set in Alcatraz Prison around the 1930's. It features four Hollywood Mob characters Ray Liotta, Chazz Palminteri, Joey Pantoliano and Michael Madsen. advertisementFor a list of Easter Eggs for this map, see the Mob of the Dead Easter Eggs MechanicA new feature, or mechanic, for Mob of the Dead is the Afterlife. When downed, or when you interact with a power box, you will be able to enter the Afterlife. While in the afterlife, you can walk, levitate, shoot electricity and revive yourself for up to 60 seconds or shorter. Use the blue symbol at the bottom of the screen as an afterlife length meter. Any longer, and you will go down and will need a team mate to revive you. Make note If you down yourself when interacting with a power box, you will keep your perks when you revive. However, if you are downed by zombies, you will lose all perks when revived! The number at the bottom right corner of the screen will show how many Afterlifes you have left. At the end of each round, one more will be added, up to a max of three. If you have a Afterlife when you get down you automaticly go to Afterlife. The electricity that you fire does not kill zombies, but teleports them elsewhere. Electricity can also be used to power up volt meters around the map for various utilities. In fact, this is the map's only source of power until you fly over to the bridge. Once someone or the whole team makes it to the bridge and Pack-A-Punch machine, all machines will turn on. advertisementLook for doors around the map with the same Afterlife symbol on them. When you enter the afterlife, you will be able to walk through these doors without a problem. Any other doors are impenetrable. New Creature BrutusBrutus is a new Zombie in Mob of the Dead. It's basically a bigger and stronger version of the normal Zombie. It stomps around, shaking the entire screen, then walks up to a player and hits them like a normal zombie. The damage they do is the same as a normal zombie, but the damage they can take is much more. After killing Brutus, he will drop a Power-Up. Map Walkthrough This is a quick map walkthrough for Mob of the Dead. It's a guide on how to get to each part of the map, find all weapons, find all perks, and will be updated with trap upgrade part locations. If you want to know how to accomplish certain achievements or trophies, see the Uprising Achievements and Trophies page. Some of the pages make it much easier to find specific things instead of reading through this whole map walkthrough. Library / D-BlockThe game starts out all players in the Library and D-Block. You will have to revive yourself while in the Afterlife. Notice the blue doorway with the voltage meter nearby. This doorway is only available while in the Afterlife. When you're alive again, it will be a normal door. Charge the voltage meter inside while in the Afterlife to open the cell with the Double Points Power-Up. advertisementD-Block has the M14 on the wall for 500 points, and the library has the Olympia on the wall for 500 points. The door from the Library near the Olympia will lead directly to C-D Street. Cell BlocksThe Cell Block is the big, square area in the middle of the map. It's basically the central point to all other areas. One side is C-D Street, the middle area is known as Broadway, and the far end is known as Michigan. One side between C-D Street and Michigan is called B-Block, and the other side must be A-Block. B-Block and MichiganadvertisementTaking the path from D-Block will lead to B-Block. The catwalk path ends at a door near the middle of the cell block, which can be purchased for 1000 Points, or you can jump down to the Cafeteria and Showers Doors on the ground floor. The door on the catwalk will take you to the middle of the Cell Block, also known as Broadway. If you like, you can also jump down off the catwalk Michigan side and head towards the other end of the Cell Block – possibly named A-Block. The other end has a door to the Warden's Office and the Citadel Tunnels. The Tunnel's door can be bought for 1500 Points, but the Warden's Office must be opened in the Afterlife. Enter the Afterlife, jump through the symbol above the Warden's Office, follow the path to a volt meter and charge it to lower the Warden's Key above the office. Anyone can then grab the key to open the office and certain other locked boxes or doors around the map. Across the hall from the Cafeteria door is the MP5 wall spot. The only thing towards Michigan is the Gondola. This Gondola can be rode down to the docks for 750 points after the volt meter has been charged up. After it reaches its destination, it can be taken back up to this area for another 750 Points. The third floor also has a new Perk-A-Cola machine called Electric Cherry. It can be bought for 2000 points, and discharges electricity from the user each time they reload. Behind the machine is a Workbench location. Follow the path behind the workbench to a door to the Infirmary. This door costs 1000 Points to open. Warden's OfficeadvertisementThe Warden's Office is located around the Cell Blocks, on the Michigan / A-Block side. The door cannot be bought with points like all other doors. To open this door, enter the Afterlife, jump through the symbol above the Warden's Office, follow the path to a volt meter and charge it to lower the Warden's Key above the office. Anyone can then grab the key to open the office and certain other locked boxes and doors around the map. With the door open, the Fan Trap can be used for 1000 Points. This activates fan blades at the door which will kill anything that comes into contact with it, or it will just down players. Further into the office is an Uzi wall spot. Buy this weapon for 1500 Points. Weapon Price Location Uzi 1500 Wall To the right of the Uzi is a door with electricity surging through it. This is the only locked thing in the prison that cannot be immediately unlocked with the Warden's Key. To unlock this, you must go down to the generator room and overload three generators. Behind the electric door is a Plane Part. In the rooms to the left of the Uzi is a Mystery Box spawn and the Speed Cola machine. CafeteriaThe Cafeteria is a room that can be accessed through the B-Block near MP5 part of the Cell Blocks, or through the Infirmary. There are two doors that can be purchased for 1000 each to reach this area. advertisementAfter the door to the Cell Block is opened, an Acid Trap can be used for 1000 Points. The Claymores can be purchased for 1000 Points. This particular Workbench is used to build the Acidgat Kit. This allows players to convert the Blundergat into the Acidgat, unlocking the Acid Drip achievement / trophy. Each door costs 1000 Points. The first area is a mix of small rooms, one being covered in tiles. Enter the Afterlife to find an open door in the tile covered room. This door leads up to the roof, where a volt meter can be charged to gain access to the rooftop. advertisementFurther into the Infirmary is another Uzi wall spot. It can be purchased for 1500 Points. Near it is another Mystery Box spawn location. Weapon Price Location Uzi 1500 Wall Another Hound Emblem can be found in the same room as the Uzi, just left of another Plane Part in a box. To open this box, you will need the Warden's Key. The room next to the locked box is another Perk-A-Cola Machine Deadshot Daiquiri. Charge it up and gain access to it for 1200 Points. At the other end of this room is the set of stairs up to the roof. Another door is also in this area, but it leads down to the Cafeteria, and must be bought with 1000 Points. RoofThe roof is a completely empty area. It forms a circle, so it will be hard to get trapped. This is the area the plane must be built for No One Escapes Alive. Build the plane to fly over to the Bridge. Citadel TunnelsadvertisementThe Citadel Tunnels can be accessed via a door on the Michigan side of the Cell Block, or through the Showers. The door from the Cell Block costs 1500 Points to open. Near the entrance is the Double Tap II Root Beer Perk-A-Cola machine. Right after the perk machine is a wall with three Hound Emblems on it. After feeding all three hounds, this wall will open up, and the Hell's Retriever will be available inside. Down the hall is the R870 MCS on the wall for 1200 Points. Near the weapon is a room with another Mystery Box spawn. This same room also has a door that leads down to the Docks. This door must be bought for 1000 Points. Weapon Price Location R870 MCS 1200 Down hall Another door at the end of the first set of rooms can be bought for 2000 Points, and leads out to the Showers. ShowersThe Showers can be accessed in two ways. The first way is through a door for 2000 Points from the Citadel Tunnels. The second way is a bit more complex. When at the B-Block side of the Cell Block, enter the Afterlife and head through a door just to the left of the MP5 spawn. Follow the arrows to a volt meter and charge it up to open the doors to the Showers. advertisementThe shower room is a square, medium-sized room. The middle area is completely blocked off, forming a circular path. At one end is an R870 MCS wall spot for 1200 Points. At the other end is a locked gate. Use the Warden's Key to open this gate and access the washing machine. Charge the volt meter near the machine while in the afterlife to get the machine running, then interact with it to start a quick cycle. When the cycle is done, interact with it again to get another Plane Part. Weapon Price Location R870 MCS 1200 Back wall Citadel Tunnels to DocksThese tunnels are still technically the Citadel Tunnels. It's a semi-long spiral path down to the Docks. At the bottom of the area is a box that can only be unlocked with the Warden's Key. Zap each volt meter in the formerly locked box to match the numbers on the walls. This will activate the elevator in the middle of the room. Quickly you are timed head down the tunnels and make a left to the elevator opening to grab another Plane PartAt the bottom of the tunnel is a door worth 1000 Points. Open it up to find another Uzi wall spot. Further down are two paths to two doors. One door worth 2000 Points leads to the docks, and the other doors worth 1500 Points leads to the Generator room. Weapon Price Location Uzi 1500 Wall at bottom advertisementGenerator Room Near DocksThis is a small room with several generators. It can be accessed through the Citadel Tunnels or the Docks. DocksThe Docks can be accessed through the Generator Room or through the Citadel Tunnels. The gate from the Tunnels costs 2000 Points to open, but the door through the Generator Room costs 1500 Points to open. Near the gate is the Jugger-Nog machine. After charging it up, the beverage can be purchased for 2500 Points. advertisementFurther ahead of the Perk-A-Cola machine is the Gondola. This can be rode for 750 Points up to the third floor Cell Block, but it must be charged first like all other machines. Another path down towards the docks is located near the Jugger-Nog machine. A long set of stairs can be taken, or you can jump off a bridge. Near the bottom is a Workbench near the Generator Room's door. This is also the place where the third Hound Emblem is located. This particular workbench is the place to create the Zombie Shield. There are three parts needed to build this item One part is located around the docksOne part is located in the generator roomOne part is located in the tunnels down to the DocksFurther down the path is a new weapon on a wall the M1927. This trap is the Tower Trap, and can be activated for 1000 Points. Using this trap will activate automated snipers at the top of the tower. The snipers will headshot several zombies, instantly killing them. This trap can be upgraded if someone is in the Afterlife after the trap is activated. A Voltage meter will appear above the trap, allowing a player in the Afterlife to charge it. The Sniper fire will change to RPGs when upgraded. If this trap is upgraded, and the other two traps are used in the Warden's Office and Cafeteria before round ten, all players will earn the Trapped in Time achievement / Trophy. BridgeThe Bridge is a medium-sized area that can only be accessed after building the Plane on the roof. Get on the plane and fly it over to the bridge where the Pack-A-Punch Machine is located. Beware Brutus spawns more frequently here and sometimes more than one use a ray gun to easily dispatch them. Zombies will still spawn and attack you. After a minute or so, four electric chairs will show up in this area. Use them to return to the Library / D-Block of the Prison with all your weapons and perks intact. The plane can then be refueled by finding gas cans, where the original plane parts are located, and can be used to return to the Bridge. After a slew of controversial entries in the Call of Duty zombies saga, Treyarch have returned with Black Ops Cold War, which, though not quite perfect, seems to have done a great job of satisfying CoD zombies fans both new and old. With four more seasons of content in store, we can't wait to see what's next for the legendary mode. The most recent survival map, Firebase Z, re-introduced the Russian Manglers boss zombies, which were first seen in Black Ops 3. With that in mind, we're interested to see what other famous boss zombies from the past could be returning to the fold in the future. 10 Megaton Die Maschine Megaton zombies were the flagship new enemies of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War's zombies mode when it first debuted, appearing on the lone launch map Die Maschine. Large, lumbering monsters in hazmat suits, they're made iconic by their sickly green/yellow hue and their second phase which sees them split in two. Though not overly difficult to deal with for experienced teams, they can certainly be intimidating for new players, and, should squads fail to be adequately prepared, they can be quite a handful. They don't have the nostalgia factor of boss zombies from previous games, but that shouldn't detract from their overall appeal. 9 George Romero Call of the Dead A strange entry in the Treyarch's rogue's gallery, famous horror movie director George Romero, most known for popularizing zombie movies with his seminal work Night of the Living Dead, was immortalized in the original Black Ops zombies mode. A staple feature of Call of the Dead, a zombified Romero would slowly pursue the player, flying into a rage when attacked. With an over-abundance of health, taking Romero down was quite the feat. However, when defeated, he would reward the player with a Wunderwaffe, an all-time great zombies weapon which was first introduced in World at War's Der Riese map. 8 Hellhounds Shi No Numa First introduced in Shi No Numa, the third installment of World at War's zombies mode, hellhounds have been one of the few constants of the ever-changing zombies formula. Accompanied by fog and foreboding warnings in unique rounds dedicated entirely to them, hellhounds rounds were hugely important to the game's evolution, as they brought with them guaranteed max ammo drops. Usually, hellhounds aren't very difficult to dispatch, offering a bit of a reprieve for beleaguer zombie slayers. That said, the can be a nuisance if players are wielding weapons which need to be reloaded frequently. 7 Meuchler The Darkest Shore Though it's often forgotten by fans of the Black Ops subseries, Call of Duty WWII's take on the zombies formula managed to innovate without straying too far from what made the mode so popular in the first place. While many tired of it fairly quickly, it should be commended for staying true to the horror themes present in the initial World at War maps. The Darkest Shore's primary boss enemies, the Meuchlers were terrifying, multi-armed monstrosities that leapt from the map's thick fog and attacked players with an unmatched ferocity. Easily one of the creepiest boss zombies of all time in terms of design and aesthetic, WWII's Meuchlers deserve more credit than they initially received. 6 Orda Firebase Z The Call of Duty zombies storyline has often flirted with the concept of Lovecraftian horror, with the most prominent example of that being Black Ops 3's Shadows of Evil map, but such inspiration can also be seen on the new map, Firebase Z. Should players make it to round 30, they'll be forced to defend a section of the map from the mysterious eldritch god Orda. A towering beast that's reminiscent of the Panzermorder from WWII zombies, the Orda stands far out of harm's way, is nearly impervious to most scorestreaks, and can take some serious coordination to take down. 5 Krasny Soldat Outbreak Faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive! Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound! It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's the Krasny Soldat from Black Ops Cold War's Outbreak mode. Perhaps the single most intimidating boss zombie of all time, the Krasny Soldat was clearly designed for the wide-open terrain of Black Ops Cold War's new zombies mode. Nearly impossible to escape and brutally difficult to deal with in close quarters thanks to his flamethrower, the Krasny Soldat has likely ended more Outbreak runs than most players would care to admit. 4 Panzermorder The Final Reich The epic final boss fight of The Final Reich's main Easter egg in WWII zombies, the Panzermorder is a mortifying mass of bodies that perfectly represents the horrific overtones of the 2017 Call of Duty installment's undead slaughterfest. A hulking goliath that can only be taken down with repeated airstrikes, it's an utter nightmare to fight, particularly during the much harder "true" Easter egg. From the beefed-up Wustlings to the aformentioned Meuchlers, WWII zombies was full of horrors, but, in terms of sheer brawn, the Panzermorder stands almost unmatched. 3 Margwa Shadows Of Evil Prior to the release of Black Ops 3, Lovecraftian conspiracies and eldritch horrors had been hinted at within the zombies storyline, but they'd never actually been seen. That changed when Shadows of Evil was introduced, as it brought interdimensional terrors and half-human, half-squid hybrids to the forefront of the action. Under the command of the villainous Shadow Man, the three-headed Margwa was a brutish boss that could only be damaged when its mouths were open. Skilled players had to carefully aim at the monster's exposed maw to bring it down, making sure that every shot they took during that small window of time counted. 2 Brutus Mob of the Dead The hellish guardsman eternally watching over the damned souls locked in Black Ops II's demented version of Alcatraz island, Brutus is a terrifying figure famous for his enraged screams and merciless hatred for Mob of the Dead's four would-be escapees. More than just a typical brute single-mindedly chasing down players with his club, Brutus has the ability to lock down things like perk machines and the mystery box, forcing players to spend points to unlock them again. Brutus returned—and was arguably more fiendish—in Black Ops 4's Blood of the Dead, though he'll always be best-remembered for his original appearance. 1 Panzersoldat Origins Undoubtedly the most legendary boss zombie variant in Call of Duty zombies history, the Panzersoldat is an utter beast capable of ending any unprepared team's run. Making several appearances throughout Black Ops II and III and with an aforementioned spiritual successor appearing in Black Ops Cold War, the Panzersoldat is almost as widely-renown as the mode's famous hellhounds. The Panzersoldat was made iconic thanks to his inaugural appearance in Black Ops II's Origins. Consistently appearing on round eight, he was a death sentence for hapless newcomers, and he acts as a genuinely imposing boss unless players have any of the four staffs. EachBO2 DLC came with 4 new MP maps and one Zombie map. The first DLC, Revolution, includes the following multiplayer maps: Hydro, Grind, Downhill, Mirage and Die Rise. The second DLC, Uprising, includes: Mob of the Dead, Magma, Encore, Vertigo and Studio. The 3rd map pack, Vengeance, adds: Cove, Detour, Rush, Uplink and Buried.
Mob of the Dead is superior in my opinion, but Blood is a good reimagining. My list of main thoughtsThough I enjoy the addition of the West Grounds and Warden’s House areas of the map I don’t like how it ubruptly culdasacks and effectively makes the map similar in structure to Shadows of Evil. It would have been nice to have a path not a portal running between West Grounds and the stated before, it would have been preferred to have paths instead of portals connecting ends of the map to the cell house now acting like a main hub.The lore is pretty great, and adds to the overall story on a level similiar if not better than still prefer MOTD’s spirit system and wish that they would have kept it in such as the hells retriever and spork return, so that’s is arguably easier this time around as compared to BO2 on normal difficulty. Mostly due to the special and Brutus spawns are manageable now due to recent I’d give it a with the original being a perfect 10. But, given the fact that Classified is an improvement on the original minus Nixon’s absence, and the two new maps are both tremendous in their own right, this game is definitely the best release for zombies mode since BO1 by far.
Heyy'all, this is my first ever mod made in gsc, created by me and staff member @homura. Essentially, what this mod does is increase your lives cap up to 9, a reference to the custom game loading screen of MOTD. It took me many days to code this in as not only was it my first time in gsc, but I also ran into many bugs with the hud, which I

For the re-imagined version, see Blood of the Dead For similar map name, see "Anchoring the second map pack is Mob of the Dead, Treyarch’s largest Zombies map to date. Top Hollywood talent rounds out a cast of four Prohibition-era gangsters – each with a unique set of skills – that are forced to fend off hordes of the undead while imprisoned on San Francisco’s notorious Alcatraz Island. While guard towers and new weapons offer tactical advantages, survival offers an unprecedented new challenge for these four lost souls." ―Map description Mob of the Dead, also known as Alcatraz Island, is the fifteenth Zombies map. It is included in the Call of Duty Black Ops II downloadable content pack, Uprising. Overview[] Mob of the Dead is located on Alcatraz Island during the Prohibition-Era of American history and is the biggest map in Zombies history to date. The four playable characters are Michael Madsen as Finn O'Leary, Joe Pantoliano as Albert Arlington, Chazz Palminteri as Salvatore DeLuca, and Ray Liotta as Billy Handsome, all of whom are Gangsters who have been locked up on Alcatraz and were planning an escape on the night of the outbreak. Zombies on the island have red eyes, and the mystery box has a different look with a red glow. This map also introduces Guard and Prisoner Zombies on the island. The map features several additions to the players' arsenal. The Uzi and the AK-47 make their debut in Zombies, as well as the M1927. The Death Machine is now a standard box weapon, and no longer a powerup. The LSAT is also featured, having only appeared in the zombie variant of Nuketown. Also returning from Nuketown Zombies is the Fire Sale power up. There is a new Wonder Weapon featured, the Blundergat, a cross between a Blunderbuss and a Gatling Gun. There is also a unique tomahawk-like weapon called Hell's Retriever, with a red aura. The weapon can pierce through multiple zombies and will return back to the player. It takes about three seconds to recharge before it can be thrown again. These tomahawks can be thrown at power-ups and retrieve them for the player. In addition, holding down the throw button for a few seconds will allow the player to throw the tomahawk a further distance. Purchasable traps also return, last appearing in Ascension. The map features three new traps, the Fan Trap, the Acid Trap and the Tower Trap. A new utility is also introduced, the Gondola, which transports players between the main prison and another part of the island, similarly to the Zipline in Shi No Numa/ Call of the Dead. There is also a Tower Trap, which assists the player by shooting zombies with sniper rounds. Only the Tower trap can be upgraded; once upgraded the trap will fire rockets instead of sniper rounds. Mob of the Dead features a new boss zombie, known as the Warden or Brutus, that can disable perk machines, workbenches used to craft buildable items, and the mystery box. Reactivating them requires 2000 points, though the cost scales up by 2000 with each utility disabled in a single round. He can be killed, but does not appear during his own round. Instead, he appears alongside other zombies, similarly to George A. Romero from Call of the Dead. Upon death he will drop a power-up. Additionally, the Warden will spawn inside the map if the players spend too much money investing in the mystery box. He will also appear randomly throughout various hordes. Afterlife Mode[] Mob of the Dead also introduces the new Afterlife Mode, a form of gameplay that the player spawns in and enters upon death. In the Afterlife mode you can shock and levitate, new areas and objectives will become available for the player to complete such as turning on the power and specifically activating utilities such as cell doors with power ups in them and the Perk Machines throughout the map. Though, there is a time limit in the afterlife, once the blue meter has depleted, the player will be sent out of the afterlife. Several side quests are also available for the player to complete, with the main one being to construct a plane to escape the island. "Escaping" Alcatraz After building "Icarus", players are able to fly to the Golden Gate Bridge, where Pack-a-Punch is located. They are able to return to Alcatraz by using the Electric Chairs. Perks Available[] Juggernog Speed Cola Double Tap Root Beer Deadshot Daiquiri Electric Cherry Quick Revive is not present in this map due to the Afterlife System, which acts like Quick Revive. Easter Eggs[] Pop Goes the Weasel[] "Pop Goes The Weasel" is the main Easter egg on Mob of the Dead, and follows the playable character's attempts to escape the island. It is the first time ever in Zombies that the players can complete the level and end the game without being killed by zombies. It also marks the first time in Zombies that a playable character becomes hostile to the other players; to complete it successfully, players that are controlling Sal, Billy and Finn will have to kill the player controlling the Weasel OR the Weasel must kill Sal, Billy, and Finn. The difference in ending is that the "Cycle is Broken," meaning that the four playable characters will escape from purgatory. Once the cycle is broken, the game ends. Musical Easter Eggs[] The song "Rusty Cage" by Johnny Cash can be played by activating three bottles scattered around the map. The song "Where Are We Going" by Kevin Sherwood can also be played; this can be done by finding the warden's key, then unlocking the power switch with the numbers puzzle next to the elevator. Instead of activating the lift with the number sequence seen on the stairs, the player needs to input the number "935", followed by "115". The song will then play. Jump-Scare[] When on the roof where the plane is assembled, the player can activate a "jump scare" Easter egg. The player is required to have a sniper rifle and they must proceed to the far end of the roof, to the left of the runway. If the player scopes in on the firework display in the distance, a distorted picture of a face will flash up on the screen for a split second, accompanied by a high-pitched scream. Duringthe filming of George A. For the similarly named Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies Map, see Call of the Dead. For other uses, see Alcatraz. "Battle the undead as you attempt to break free from the physical and metaphorical incarceration of Alcatraz Prison." — Map description Mob of the Dead also known as Alcatraz Island and Sunset Strip is the fifteenth chronologically, the second Zombies map. It is included in the second Call of Duty Black Ops II downloadable content pack, Uprising. It was released on April 16, 2013 for Xbox 360 and May 16, 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and PC. Individually, the downloadable content pack costs $ 1200 Microsoft Points, but is also a part of the Season Pass costing $ with Xbox Live gold membership, or $35 without the membership. Mob of the Dead occurs within the infamous Alcatraz Island and includes the Golden Gate Bridge; the juncture of the map is set during the Prohibition-era of America. The four playable characters are Finn O'Leary, Albert Arlington, Salvatore DeLuca, and Billy Handsome. These mobsters are inmates of Alcatraz and attempt to execute an escape plan during the night of the zombie outbreak. This map introduces a new game mechanic, Afterlife Mode. A player in Afterlife can power various utilities and walk through certain walls to reach areas that are not normally accessible; however, the duration of the Afterlife is limited. Afterlife is necessary for collecting the plane components that are dispersed across the map. Mob of the Dead also features a new boss-like zombie, Brutus. He attacks players and also targets various utilities to disable, including Perk-a-Cola machines, workbenches, traps, and the Mystery Box. The map features a number of buildables, including the returning Zombie Shield and the new Acid Gat Kit and Icarus. Any of the numerous workbenches found around the map may be used to craft these buildables, with the exception of Icarus, which must be built on the roof of the prison. The map also features a new Perk-a-Cola called Electric Cherry, which creates an electric barrier around the player during a reload. Depending on the round, the electric shock can either stun zombies, or kill them. "Rusty Cage" by Johnny Cash and "Where Are We Going" by Malukah are featured as Easter Egg songs within the map. Furthermore, "Samantha's Lullaby" by Kevin Sherwood can be heard in a secret ending for the map. A fractured portion of the map is featured in Revelations. It returns in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 as Blood of the Dead and Alcatraz. Features Mob of the Dead is located on Alcatraz Island during the Prohibition-Era of American history. The four playable characters are Michael "Finn" O'Leary, Albert "Weasel" Arlington, Salvatore DeLuca, and Billy Handsome, all of whom are gangsters who have been locked up on Alcatraz and were planning an escape on the night of the outbreak. Zombies on the island have red eyes, and the Mystery Box has a different look with a red glow, indicating that the zombies are not under Samantha's, Richtofen's or Maxis' control. This map introduces Guard and Prisoner zombies on the island. The map also introduces a new Perk-a-Cola machine called Electric Cherry. Upon reloading, this Perk-a-Cola temporarily stuns or kills zombies with an electric shock that fires in a relatively short radius around the player, with less ammo left in the magazine resulting in a bigger and stronger electric shock. If the reload animation is canceled before it completes, the next time the player reloads the electric shock does not fire. Weapons The map features several additions to the players' arsenal. The Uzi and the AK-47 make their debut in Zombies, as well as the M1927. The Death Machine makes a return as a standard Mystery Box weapon instead of being a power-up. The LSAT is also featured, having previously only appeared in Nuketown Zombies. Also returning from Nuketown Zombies is the Fire Sale power-up. Wonder Weapon The main Wonder Weapon of the map is the Blundergat, a shotgun hybrid between a Blunderbuss and a Gatling Gun. It can be upgraded into the Acid Gat, via the Acid Gat Kit. There is also a unique tomahawk-like weapon, known as Hell's Retriever. The weapon has a red aura and can pierce through multiple zombies before returning to the player once thrown but it can be upgraded to a more powerful Hell's Redeemer. A secret melee Wonder Weapon called the Golden Spork can also be obtained; it boasts very high damage and is capable of one-hit kills up to round 34. The Ray Gun makes a reappearance as well as the Mark 2, which wasn't available upon release but later got put into all maps. Traps and Utilities Purchasable traps also return, having last appeared in Ascension. The map features three new traps the Fan Trap, the Acid Trap, and the Tower Trap; the last of which can be upgraded via Afterlife mode to fire rockets rather than bullets. A new utility is also introduced, the Gondola, which can transport players between the main prison and the docks similarly to the Zipline in Shi No Numa. New Boss Mob of the Dead features a new boss zombie, known as Brutus, who can disable perk machines, Icarus, workbenches used to craft buildable items, and the Mystery Box. Reactivating them costs 2000 points, though the cost scales up by 2000 with each utility disabled in a single round. He can be killed but does not have his own round. Instead, he appears alongside other zombies, similarly to George A. Romero from Call of the Dead, making him difficult to kill. Upon death, he will drop a power-up. Additionally, Brutus will spawn inside the map if the players spend too much money investing in the Mystery Box. He will also appear randomly throughout various hordes. If Brutus encounters an active trap, he will stop moving for a while and disable the trap. Afterlife Mode Mob of the Dead also introduces the new Afterlife Mode, a form of gameplay that the player spawns in and enters upon death. In the Afterlife, new areas and objectives will become available for the player to complete[2][3] such as unlocking cell doors and activating Perk Machines throughout the map. However, there is a time limit for how long the player can be in the Afterlife; once the blue meter has depleted, the player will be sent out of the Afterlife and revert to a downed state. "Escaping" Alcatraz One of the side quests available in the map features the construction of a crude aircraft, known as Icarus. After building the plane, players are able to fly to the Golden Gate Bridge, where the Pack-a-Punch Machine is located. They are able to return to Alcatraz by using the Electric Chairs found on the bridge; they will subsequently be sent to the starting room in Afterlife Mode. Easter Eggs Pop Goes The Weasel For information on this Easter egg and steps on how to complete it, see Pop Goes the Weasel. "Pop Goes The Weasel" is the primary Easter egg featured on Mob of the Dead, and follows the playable character's attempts to escape the island. It is the first time ever in Zombies that the players can complete the level and end the game without being killed by zombies. It also marks the first time in Zombies that a playable character becomes hostile to the other players. To complete it successfully, players that are controlling Sal, Billy and Finn will have to kill the player controlling Weasel or vice versa. The canon ending has been confirmed to be Weasel killing the others, proven by Black Ops 4's Blood of the Dead. Secret Ending In the beginning of a match, if the players do not move and wait for the Afterlife timer to be consumed, a secret ending will be triggered, in which the screen turns to black and white, the mobsters bleed out, and Samantha's lullaby can be heard while the view is lifted from the Spawn room to the sky. Music Easter Eggs The song "Rusty Cage" by Johnny Cash can be played by activating three bottles scattered around the map. One is located on a bookshelf in the library spawn area, another is located in the infirmary, near one of the baths filled with blood, and the last is located on the docks, tucked away between a crate and a fence. As with most of the other music Easter eggs, a strange sound can be heard when the player is near one of the bottles. The song "Where Are We Going" by Kevin Sherwood can also be played. This can be done by finding the warden's key, then unlocking the power switch with the numbers puzzle next to the elevator. The player needs to input the numbers "935". The song will then play. "Jump Scare" Easter Egg When on the roof where the plane is assembled, the player can activate a "jump scare" Easter egg. The player is required to have a sniper rifle, such as the Barrett M82A1 or the DSR 50, and they must proceed to the far end of the roof, to the left of the runway. If the player scopes in on the firework display in the distance, a distorted picture of a face will flash up on the screen for a split second, accompanied by a high-pitched scream.[4] Audio Logs Main article Mob of the Dead/Audio Logs Several audio logs can be accessed by typing the four character's prison numbers into the counter that operates the underground elevator. These audio logs, narrated by an older Stanley Ferguson, reveal information about what had actually occurred at Alcatraz and information about the group's current situation. The Golden Spork Main article Golden Spork The Golden Spork is a melee weapon that can be obtained through completing specific actions in a certain order. It is powerful enough to deal one-hit kills up to round 34, making it the second most powerful melee weapon in Zombies behind the upgraded One Inch Punch in Origins. "Brutus 115" Easter Egg To activate the Easter Egg, the player must find the number counter and enter in the number '115', upon entering Brutus can be heard shouting "Not this time!" or "Maybe next time" in a hushed whisper. The number will then change to '666'. Eventually, it will then shift back to normal as if nothing had happened. No other effects occur during and after the Easter egg has been activated. Ciphers and Scrap Paper Main article Mob of the Dead/Ciphers and Scrap Paper Ciphers and paper scraps can be found scattered around the map. The ciphers give some backstory to the characters while the paper, when formed, shows a comic drawing made by Weasel, with editor's notes scribbled on it. Opening Scene Transcript Transcript A black and white shot of the jail cells of Alcatraz Prison is seen as the prison guard, Stanley Ferguson, is making his rounds. A narration by Finn O'Leary discussing the escape plan with Sal DeLuca is heard. Finn O'Leary "Hey Sal, we must've been through this fifty times already." DeLuca" And we'll go through with it another fifty if that's what it takes." The shot cuts to Ferguson, walking past cells as the inmates prepare for bed. DeLuca narration "930, lights out, guard begins his rounds." Cut to DeLuca's jail cell, while making a cup of coffee, he walks up to Ferguson and begins a discussion. DeLuca "How we doin' tonight, Ferguson? Family good?" Ferguson "They're doin' great, Mr. DeLuca. My boy Tommy, he's almost six now." DeLuca takes a sip from his cup. DeLuca "Ain't that swell?" Cut to Ferguson walking past Finn O'Leary's cell, while Finn is on the toilet reading a newspaper. Ferguson "Hey Finn, got that tip for Saturday's race yet?" Finn O'Leary "I'm workin' on it, right now." Cut to Ferguson walking past Billy Handsome's cell, moans of pain begin to emerge from Albert Arlington's cell. Billy then emerges from the darkness of his cell, lighting a cigarette. Billy Handsome "You gonna shut him up, or do I gotta do it?" Ferguson then bangs his police baton off his cell doors in an intimidating manner. Ferguson "You know the rules, Handsome. No talking." Billy Handsome narration "935, The Weasel launches into his song and dance routine." Ferguson "Dammit, Arlington!" Arlington is lying on the ground, pretending to be in pain. Albert Arlington "You gotta get the doc!" Ferguson proceeds to open the cell doors to Arlington's cell. Ferguson "It better be the real deal this time." Ferguson walks into the cell, scuffling, fighting and stabbing can be heard from within, and Ferguson's dead body falls to the ground. Arlington exits his cell with a self-made knife and a set of keys. DeLuca narration "Once The Weasel gets the keys, we move on to stage two." Arlington proceeds to unlock the cell doors of Billy Handsome, Finn O'Leary and Sal DeLuca, Sal throws his cup away. DeLuca "Let's get movin'." The group of four meet up in the middle of the cell block. Billy Handsome hands them all snub-nosed Pythons. Handsome "Here ya go, fellas. Courtesy of the warden's private collection." Arlington "Your boys in the laundry stashed the parts?" Handsome "'Course they fuckin' did." Cut to a shot looking towards the four from a distance as a zombie moan is heard. Stanley Ferguson's corpse steps partially into view. Arlington "What the fuck? I killed him!" Handsome "Ya been in the joint too long, Al. You've forgotten how to get shit done." The camera zooms in onto Ferguson, he begins screaming as his eyes are glowing. Handsome then shoots his shoulder, with no effect. Handsome "What the fuck?" The song "Rusty Cage" by Johnny Cash begins to play, as the 4 line up and begin to fire on the zombie Stanley Ferguson. The zombie takes a massive amount of damage before finally falling. The cell blocks then slowly transform into a horrifying, hellish depiction of Alcatraz prison. Arlington "This ain't right. Somethin' weird's goin' on here..." DeLuca "You don't say, Weasel." O'Leary "Where are those screams comin' from?" The camera begins to zoom out of the four, and the black and white tone begins to change to color as hordes of zombies begin to emerge from their cells. Arlington "Oh, shit!" Billy, Finn and Sal begin to fire on the zombie horde, while Albert tries to make a quick escape. He is stopped as a zombie grabs him, where Albert grabs his head and shoots the zombie through the mouth. The camera then cuts to Sal knocking a zombie onto the ground and shooting it through the head and turns around to shoot a zombie behind him. The camera cuts again to Finn stomping a zombie's head into the ground, and the camera cuts again to Billy pinning a zombie up against a wall with a lead pipe as he proceeds to smash the pipe into its face. It again cuts to Albert running from a horde of zombies, only to be stopped in his tracks by another horde in front of him, he stops to shoot but is ultimately overwhelmed by them. The camera then cuts to Finn throwing a zombie onto the ground and smacking a zombie with his gun, but is then pinned up against a wall by a large group and is killed. It then cuts to Sal and Billy holding off hordes, where Sal then runs towards a cell block and closes the door behind him, leaving Billy to die at the hands of the zombies. Taking one last look at him, Sal runs off, only to be stopped by a large group. The four are then presumed dead as the camera zooms out to a final shot of the entire island of Alcatraz. Mob of the Dead Black Ops 2 of the Dead Trailer - Official Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Video-0Announcement TrailerBlack Ops 2 - "Mob of the Dead" Zombies 6 Minute Gameplay PreviewGameplay Preview Trivia In the Grief version for Mob of the Dead Cell Block, there was a cut special item, which is Richtofen's Zombie Head. In the beginning cut scene, all four protagonists fire more than six shots using Pythons without reloading. The player can see the name of the character they are playing as next to their point counter. PhD Flopper and Mule Kick can be seen in the docks, but are unavailable. Both are available in Cell Block, however. The song played during the second half of the opening cutscene is a cover of Soundgarden's "Rusty Cage" by Johnny Cash. It is also a side easter egg song. This map has different skins for Pack-a-Punched weapons from the past two maps. The guns appear to be cracked and have orange light pulsating from the cracks, with a similar appearance to lava. The Perk-a-Cola machines and the Pack-a-Punch machine make distorted noises and flicker between color and black-and-white textures, with the exception of Electric Cherry; it does not flicker, but still makes distorted noises. The distorted noised played are variants of the Perk-a-Cola machines' regular jingles.[5] Upon entering 115 referring to Element 115 into the number pad for the plane part, the player will hear "Not this time!", "Maybe next time!", "I don't think so!" and the numbers will change to '666' referring to the Bible's "number of the beast". Furthermore, a "Rule 666" referencing the zombies is found on the entrance to the Citadel Tunnels, near the Warden's Office. When near C-D block at the Cerberus' head spawn, there is a lava pit. If the player throws a grenade into in the lava pit, they will receive 20 points. In the opening cutscene when Albert Arlington pretends to be in pain, the time is 935, a reference to Group 935. The clock above the cafeteria door is at 115, referring to Element 115. The Golden Spork can be seen on the loading screen. There is a Tower of Babel painting in the Warden's Office above the barricaded fireplace near Speed Cola. It is a reference to the Tower of Babble Easter Egg in TranZit. On the trap switches, there is a print saying "Zom B inc.", a pun over the word Zombie. In the library in the spawn room, one of the books on the bookshelf across from the afterlife box reads Alcatraz Swimteam Yearbook. When any of the four characters are downed the player can hear them talking to themselves. When obtaining the spoon for the Golden Spork easter egg weapon, the player can find a skeleton within the wall. This is a reference to the popular trope wherein a convict uses a spoon to dig out of prison. During the reveal trailer for this map, a zombie that gets killed by the Fan Trap has yellow eyes. When the AK-47 gets Pack-a-Punched, it becomes Reznov's Revenge, referencing the character Viktor Reznov and his lust for revenge. Salutà tous ! Donc comme l'annonce le titre, je vends la pack de map Mob of the Dead contre 5€ paypal. Tous sa se fera en privée, avec ou sans modérateur, à vous de voir :)
I’ve never played it before and have only seen videos. I loved WW and BO1 zombies but I haven’t played zombies since them. After those games Zombies looks much more complicated compared to when all you had to do to get to a high round was open pack a punch and/or have a strategy. I hear how people say this is one of the best maps made but I’m not sure how I’ll feel about the “non-traditional†style. Do you guys think that this is a map I’ll enjoy and worth purchasing based off your experiences and what I said?

Mob of the Dead also known as Alcatraz Island and Sunset Strip is the fifteenth chronologically, the second Zombies map. It is included in the second Call of Duty Black Ops II downloadable content pack, Uprising. It was released on April 16, 2013 for Xbox 360 and May 16, 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and PC. Individually, the downloadable content pack costs $ 1200 Microsoft Points, but is also a part of the Season Pass costing $ 4000 Microsoft Points. There are three musical Easter eggs currently found; "Rusty Cage" by Johnny Cash, "Where Are We Going" by Malukah, and "Samantha's Lullaby" by Kevin Sherwood. Features[] Mob of the Dead is located on Alcatraz Island during the Prohibition-Era of American history. The four playable characters are Finn O'Leary, Albert Arlington, Salvatore DeLuca, and Billy Handsome, all of whom are gangsters who have been locked up on Alcatraz and were planning an escape on the night of the outbreak. Zombies on the island have red eyes, and the Mystery Box has a different look with a red glow, indicating that the zombies are not under Samantha's, Richtofen's or Maxis' control. Instead the zombies on this map are controlled by an ancient evil. This map introduces Guard and Prisoner zombies on the island. The map also introduces a new Perk a cola machine called Electric Cherry. This Perk-a-cola temporarily stuns or kills zombies with an electric shock that fires in a relatively short radius around the player. Weapons[] The map features several additions to the players' arsenal. There is a new wonder weapon featured, the Blundergat, a hybrid between a Blunderbuss and a Gatling Gun. There is also a unique tomahawk-like weapon, known as Hell's Retriever. The weapon has a red aura and can pierce through multiple zombies before returning to the player once thrown. A secret melee Wonder Weapon called the Golden Spork can also be obtained; it boasts very high damage and is capable of one-hit kills up to round 34. Traps and Utilities[] Purchasable traps also return, having last appeared in Ascension. New Boss[] Mob of the Dead features a new boss zombie, known as Brutus, who can disable perk machines, Icarus, workbenches used to craft buildable items, and the Mystery Box. Reactivating them requires 2000 points, though the cost scales up by 2000 with each utility disabled in a single round. He can be killed, but does not have his own round. Instead, he appears alongside other zombies, similarly to George A. Romero from Call of the Dead, making him difficult to kill. Upon death he will drop a power-up. Additionally, Brutus will spawn inside the map if the players spend too much money investing in the Mystery Box. He will also appear randomly throughout various hordes. If Brutus encounters an active trap, he will stop moving for a while and disable the trap. Afterlife Mode[] Mob of the Dead also introduces the new Afterlife Mode, a form of gameplay that the player spawns in and enters upon death. In the Afterlife, new areas and objectives will become available for the player to complete such as unlocking cell doors and activating Perk Machines throughout the map. However, there is a time limit for how long the player can be in the Afterlife; once the blue meter has depleted, the player will be sent out of the Afterlife and revert to a downed state. "Escaping" Alcatraz[] One of the side quests available in the map features the construction of a crude aircraft, known as Icarus. After building the plane, players are able to fly to the Golden Gate Bridge, where the Pack-a-Punch Machine is located. They are able to return to Alcatraz by using the Electric Chairs found on the bridge; they will subsequently be sent to the starting room in Afterlife Mode. Easter Eggs[] Pop Goes The Weasel[] "Pop Goes The Weasel" is the primary Easter egg featured on Mob of the Dead, and follows the playable character's attempts to escape the island. Music Easter Eggs[] The song "Rusty Cage" by Johnny Cash can be played by activating three bottles scattered around the map. One is located on a bookshelf in the library spawn area, another is located in the infirmary, near one of the baths filled with blood, and the last is located on the docks, tucked away behind some crates. The song "Samantha's Lullaby" by Kevin Sherwood can also be played. This can only be done at the start of the game by not moving at all while in Afterlife mode, then bleeding out. Upon death, the start of "Samantha's Lullaby" can be heard remixed with the normal "Game Over" song as the camera pans towards the sky, most likely a reference to the map Moon. "Jump Scare" Easter Egg[] When on the roof where the plane is assembled, the player can activate a "jump scare" Easter egg. The player is required to have a sniper rifle, such as the Barrett M82A1 or the DSR 50, and they must proceed to the far end of the roof, to the left of the runway. If the player scopes in on the firework display in the distance, a distorted picture of what appears to be Russman's face will flash up on the screen for a split second, accompanied by a high-pitched scream. Audio Logs[] Several audio logs can be accessed by typing the four character's prison numbers into the counter that operates the underground elevator. These audio logs, narrated by an older Stanley Ferguson, reveal information about what had actually occurred at Alcatraz and information about the groups current situation. The Golden Spork[] The Golden Spork is a melee weapon that can be obtained through completing specific actions in a certain order. It is powerful enough to deal one-hit kills up to round 34, making it the second most powerful melee weapon in Zombies behind the upgraded One Inch Punch in Origins. "Brutus 115" Easter Egg[] To activate the Easter Egg, you must find the number counter and enter in the number '115', upon entering Brutus can be heard shouting "Not this time!" or "Maybe next time" in a hushed wisper. The number will then change to '666'. Eventually it will then shift back to normal as if nothing had happened. No other effects occur during and after the easter egg has been activated. The '666' is a reference to the devil which controls the zombies on Mob of the Dead.

It is a large room with a pile of burning furniture stacked up in the center. This allows you to keep the majority of the zombies behind you. The mystery box is located on one of the side. This causes the only bottleneck in this area. However, by running clockwise you can escape through the front entrance if the bottleneck is Acid Trap is in the entrance to this room. If you get in trouble you can leave through the main entrance and activate the You Need to KnowKill slowly when training in this area. Killing zombies quickly could cause a flood of zombies to block the entrance and your running route. This area is great for taking down Brutus. Run him around the circle until you knock his helmet off. Then run out of the room, turn around, and lay into him. If you are planning on running in this area you should consider building the Zombie Shield here. It will be easy to pick up when your shield breaks. Building the shield in this area will also add to the player traffic in this area.
